Kaiju Alpha Update History

Kaiju Alpha’s update history is a trail of overwritten Roblox descriptions. SULU KAKA announces a drop, players jump in, and the next headline replaces the previous note. This page summarizes the known arc from the Destoroyah window through later Showa, Thermo, and Godzilla 2014 eras. It does not invent contents for patch numbers that left no recoverable official text.

Read this as a map of eras, not a fake complete changelog. When a number is missing, the gap is the fact.

How to use this history

1. Find the era you last played.
2. Skim only the official or clearly labeled inferred beats after that point.
3. Open Update 42 Patch Notes for the current structured snapshot.
4. Plan catch-up grinding with the Cell Farm Planner instead of trying to “complete” missing patch lore.
5. Re-check live text on the Roblox game page before you treat any older summary as still current.

Dates below are observed-live upper bounds from page captures and checks. They are not developer-printed release dates.

These entries are grounded in official description wording recovered from live or archived Roblox page text. Wording is summarized; we do not pad them into fake multi-paragraph studio notes.

Update 24 — Destoroyah Aggregate

Observed live around mid-May 2026. Official emphasis: Added Destoroyah Aggregate. This is a clean example of the game’s normal note style: one headline form, almost no systems essay.

Update 25 — densest note in the early record

Observed live around mid-May 2026. Official package included Destoroyah Fly Form, Showa Ghidorah, Showa Mothra, Gojira 1964, plus systems words that almost never appear elsewhere: x2 EXP, beam clash, and limit break. If you see sites inventing matchmaking brackets or unrelated larvae stories for Update 25, treat those as fiction unless they can show the same official sentence.

Update 21 — SpaceGodzilla

Official description style: Added SpaceGodzilla. No public stat sheet came with it.

Update 28 — Gorosaurus

Official line: Added Gorosaurus. Capture gaps around this window mean the “live by” date may sit days after the true ship moment.

Update 31 — Minilla + rare balance numbers

Official text added Minilla and, uniquely, published concrete movement/combat constraints (including a max flight speed reduction and air-attack cooldown pressure). This remains the clearest example of numbered balance language in the public description record.

Update 32 — Monster X

Official text: Added Monster X. Do not assume extra roster adds were part of the same note unless they appear in that same official sentence.

Update 37 — Showa Jet Jaguar

Official text: Added Showa Jet Jaguar.

Update 39 — Showa Gigan

Official text: Added Showa Gigan. For a stretch this was the longest quiet period after a fast spring/summer cadence.

Update 38 — inferred Final Wars Godzilla window

No surviving description capture cleanly labeled “Update 38” in the same way as the entries above. What did survive in the place-name record is a Final Wars Godzilla headline shortly before Showa Gigan. This page therefore marks Update 38 as inferred, not as a hard official pairing. That honesty matters more than a pretty continuous table.

Later Thermo and Godzilla 2014 marketing

After the Showa Gigan stretch, the live marketing surface moved through later headlines such as a Thermo Godzilla spotlight and, by Update 42, a full Godzilla 2014 remodel package with island revamps, thirteen recolors, QoL, and x2 EXP. When the description only gives a short marketing line, this history records the era name and points you to Update 42 Patch Notes rather than fabricating ability docs.

Documented gaps (do not invent these)

The following update numbers are known to have shipped in the broader cadence, but no reliable official description contents survive in the public archive trail used for this summary: 22, 23, 26, 27, 29, 30, 33, 34, 35, 36, and additional later numbers that were overwritten before capture. If another site fills those blanks with confident patch essays and no screenshot or archive link, walk away.

Also incomplete: many place-name-only windows (Kong-era titles, Rodan event tags, coin multiplier titles, and other headlines). Place names prove something was marketed as live by a date. They do not, by themselves, prove an update number.

• The roster grew in bursts; you will always be catching up on forms you missed.
• Systems words like limit break and beam clash are rare in official text—do not expect every update to explain them again.
• Multipliers return as marketing hooks; build the habit of checking the title before grinding.
• Map and model reworks (Update 42) can invalidate muscle memory even when your favorite form name stays the same.

• Never assign fake patch numbers to place-name-only sightings.
